A Chartered Accountant with international experience, Roy has led strategic financial and operational initiatives across major healthcare organisations, including Healthcare Holdings Group. After selling Birthcare in 2021, he continues to shape the future of healthcare through various governance roles. With a strong background in financial systems, strategic growth, and healthcare management, Roy is dedicated to advancing accessible and efficient global healthcare solutions.

Sports Council Advisor

With 25 years of executive experience in professional sports, Heath has cultivated exceptional skills in strategy, negotiation, advocacy, contract management, problem-solving, decision-making, risk management, and high-performance sports.  Heath currently serves as CEO at New Zealand Cricket Players’ Association, Chairman of the Federation of International Cricketers’ Association and the Cricketers’ Hardship Trust. Heath also contributes to his iwi Ngai Tahu as a director of the All Blacks Experience Ltd, and has been recently appointed as a Director for Winners Alliance.

GRANT SHARMAN MNZM

STRATEGIC ADVISOR, SPORT & GOVERNANCE

‌‌Grant brings extensive leadership experience across high-performance sport, adaptive innovation, and community advocacy to the OptiRTP Advisory Board. A celebrated New Zealand Paralympian, Grant captained the Wheel Blacks to multiple Paralympic medals and later coached the team to gold at the 2004 Athens Paralympics. He was appointed a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit (MNZM) in recognition of his services to sport and the disability community.

DR. ANNA ROLLESTON

Health Research Advisor

As Managing Director of Manawaora/The Centre for Health, Anna is a respected health practitioner and researcher specialising in implementing a kaupapa Māori primary care approach for long-term condition management. She also co-directs the Healthy Hearts for Aotearoa Centre of Research Excellence.  Alongside her senior research fellowship at Auckland University, Dr. Rolleston actively contributes to various advisory committees and governance boards.

Neville Jones

‌Neville has known Bogdan since 2010 and become close friends during that time. In the past 14 years Neville has assisted in advising growth strategies and structures as the technology and opportunities have evolved. Neville is also a founder of NILO a NZ based Cleantech company. Using Plastic Waste to produce an adhesive for the global Engineered Wood Panel Board market replacing Urea Formaldehyde. Neville has over 20 years experience working to assist innovative NZ Companies with their global strategies to market. Neville has an extensive business network in many countries around the world.

MAL GELUK

SPORTS SCIENCE ADVISOR

‌Mal is a sport scientist specializing in Strength & Conditioning and athlete development but has always had a passion for coaching. He coached single scull rower Tala Abujbara (Qatar) at the 2019 World Championship in Linz, Austria and the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan. In his 30-year career he has coached track (middle distance), Triathlon and Duathlon at various levels and provided strength and conditioning services to athletes in Squash, Athletics, Rugby, field hockey to name a few. He enjoys helping athletes find success in their sport and uses up-to-date sport science research to gain an edge over the competition.
