OptiRTP Joins Japan New Zealand Business Council

OptiRTP has joined the Japan New Zealand Business Council (JNZBC), a network of New Zealand and Japanese organisations focused on bilateral trade and business relationships.

The membership supports OptiRTP’s preparation for planned market entry into Japan from 2027. The JNZBC provides connections to experienced Japan-connected businesses and resources for companies navigating the Japanese market.

CEO Jon Doherty has prior experience in Japan, having served as CEO of Tokyo-based Daijob, Inc from 2002 to 2006. He also helped facilitate the establishment of the NZ Travel Cafe in Tokyo in 2006 and initiated the Time Out in New Zealand program following the 2011 Tohoku earthquake.

OptiRTP has identified Japan’s focus on active aging and quality of life improvement as aligned with its therapeutic platform’s applications.
